These felted dresses are very hard to photograph. The colors and textures are very rich so they either come out less intense or more intense than in reality though the photo above is fairly true to the fabric. Notice the crinkly affect that was achieved by overlaying the wool with the silk fibers.

Dress is hand felted in two pieces, the main dress and the back skirt. There are no seams or darts, it is molded to her for a perfect fit.

The main fibers are 80%wool 20%silk blend in white, with pale green, pink and gold 100%silk fibers inlaid into the top of the wool. The silk fibers create shine and texture on the surface of the wool.

White tulle was placed under the skirt to give it lift and shape.

Shoes are hand made from scratch with hand cast resin soles covered in gold metallic silk fabric. Insole is gold lame, with a pink silk Dupiani strap across the instep

The little decorations at the bottom front of her skirt are hand made silk paper with a silk gauze base and strings of beads imbedded into the paper.

Complete repaint using artist quality acrylics and sealants.
