Includes Dress, Tap Pants, Shoes, Leggings, Wig and Necklace Doll, stand and other props are not included! Construction Details: 100% Habotai Silk fabric in the most sheer weight available! 100% Silk Ribbon Trims 100% Silk Sewing Threads size 100 (not spun, but one continuous strand of fine dyed spider silk for superior strength and luster). More expensive and difficult to use as it is so slippery, but the beautiful luster enhances and compliments the silk fabric and is well worth the effort. Completely Hand Sewn though glue was used to help keep ends of crystal chain in place on leggings AFTER hand sewing them in place first. Shoes are also glued together. Professional Finishing: French Seams, Pressed Seams, Bodice Lined with White Silk, Recessed Fasteners where possible. Fabric Print designed in scale and printed on the silk fabric by Pamela Bachmayer, steam set for 3 hours, then thoroughly rinsed with Synthropol before using. Original Pattern Designed by Pamela Bachmayer Silk Ribbon Hand Rouched and applied to bodice. Silk Ribbon shoulder straps reinforced at shoulder décor with interfacing covered with silk ribbon to add shaping and strength in a critical area. Design Details: Dress: Silk Empire Dress with Silk Ribbon and Metallic Fabric Details; Silk Ribbon Shoulder Straps and Rouching on Bodice; Single Snap in back for closure; Metallic Fabric Cording at bottom of bodice; Gathered skirt slit up the front hints at and displays matching flirty Tap Pants underneath. Tap Pants are gathered at the waist with a black Silk Ribbon and recessed hooks used at side seam for closure hint at a little “skin” underneath. Skirt on dress was too poufy for my tastes. I really wanted it to drape better around her body, but the fabric was too light weight to do it naturally. I dampened just the skirt down and lightly held in place to dry so it would follow the lines of her body more. It gives a little more wrinkled look which I like but if you don’t, you can iron the skirt out on a silk setting. Wig: Originally a white rabbit fur wig bought off Ebay but it was ill fitting, too long and too shaggy. Wig was reshaped and hemmed for better hairline, tinted a bit so not quite so white, cut, restyled and then shrunk to conform to head. Hair can be picked out with a toothpick to get more "flip" on the ends. I don't profess to be a professional wig maker, so the inside of the wig may not be "pretty", it was how the wig looked on the doll that I cared about. She really looked like she needed some earrings, but Surreal does not have ear holes. Two barrettes with dangles to match her jewelry were sewn into her wig to give her a little more dazzle. Shoes: Resin soles, covered with same fabric as her dress. Silvery chain accents match her necklace and barrettes. Silk fabric on shoes varnished for a shinier look. Jewelry: Silvery chain, Teeny Swarovski Crystal Star with Star bead accents. Sterling Silver clasp. Leggings: Silvery fabric same as the cording and shoulder ruffles of her dress. Sewn to fit legs. Do be careful when putting them on and off to gently ease them over the heel. Black silk ribbons trim the top and bottom of the leggings with tiny black silk bows at ankle and crystal chains sewn to top of leggings at the thighs.
