Winner of 1st place in Showgirl category and also placed Best of Show in the 2004 in FDM competition

Sold!

Formerly KoKo from the Butterfly Ring Dolls

With her stand and headpiece, she stands about 29 1/2 in. tall.

Complete repaint with artist quality acrylic paints, white pearlescent eyeshadow, sealed for protection.

Applied lashes (long and dramatic for that "on the stage" look).

Costume is non-removable.

Hand molded and cast soles and heels, covered in black and buff colored leather. Clear uppers decorated with Swavorski crystals.

Costume includes nearly $50 in Swavorski Crystal strands, $50 of ostrich feathers in black and yellow with other various trims. All in all, I have nearly $200 in supplies in this doll if you count the doll. Part of costume is hand sewn, part is glued, depending on whether it could be sewn or not.

Headpiece is permanently attached and has a wire framework. This was a real challenge and had to be restarted a couple of times to get it exactly how I wanted it.

I had originally planned to do mostly beadwork on this costume, then wasn't satisfied with the results. Experimentation with black and silver, and gold and silver glitter produced a better result, more dramatic and 'showgirl'ish so I replaced much of the beading with glitter. It just looked more in scale and appropriate.

Arms have been repositioned and given long black gloves adorned with Swavorski Crystals and feathers.

Finished off with a black boa!

Custom stand of solid wood, beveled and finished by my dear father-in- law. He's a dream, tell him what you need and a few days later, he's made it for ya!

This is a very dramatic looking doll in person, pictures don't do her justice, the depth of her just isn't in the photos because so much of the black details get lost in the photos.
