These felted dresses are very hard to photograph. The colors and textures are very rich so they either come out less intense or more intense than in reality though the photo above is fairly true to the fabric. Notice the crinkly affect that was achieved by overlaying the wool with the silk fibers.

Dress is hand felted in two pieces, the main dress and the back skirt. There are no seams or darts, it is molded to her for a perfect fit.

The main fibers are 100% purple wool, with purple, burgundy, gold and navy 100%silk fibers inlaid into the top of the wool. The silk fibers create shine and texture on the surface of the wool.

Shoes are hand made from scratch with hand cast resin soles covered in gold lame fabric. Insole is purple fabric, beads are suspended over her instep with monofilament.

The back skirt is nearly sheer, though you can not tell in this photo. If you place your hand behind it, you can see your hand through the fabric. The skirt was stiffened to keep a more sturdy shape to it.

Lots of swarvoski crystals adorn her jewelry and her dress.

Complete repaint using artist quality acrylics and sealants.
